Community-Led HIV/AIDS Service Monitoring and Agro-Nutritional Promotion (CHSMAP)

Community-Led HIV/AIDS Service Monitoring and Agro-Nutritional Promotion (CHSMAP)

Community-led monitoring of HIV services combined with nutrition-sensitive agriculture in the Khuwi Health Centre catchment area.

CHSMAP paired accountability with nutrition. On the health side the project established a Community-Led Monitoring committee, distributed 55 IEC materials and served 120 outreach clients, improving service delivery, ART adherence and reducing stigma. On the livelihoods side it supported 75 households in high-value crop production and established 31 demonstration gardens, improving maternal and child nutrition and household income.
