Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health
Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health
Health infrastructure, outreach clinics and nutrition-sensitive agriculture that bring maternal and child services closer to home.
EWSFA works to reduce the distance — physical and practical — between rural households and the health services they need.
We constructed the Chaseta Community Health Clinic with funding from World Connect. The functional under-five clinic has improved access to maternal, neonatal and child health services for 8,536 mothers and children. Alongside infrastructure we run mobile outreach clinics, adolescent health support and nutrition-sensitive agriculture, including demonstration gardens that improve maternal and child nutrition.
